Australian 0 gauge brass models.
Our company was the first to start making ready to run models in 0 scale for the Australian market. To date these have included the VR DERM and Y class both 1/48 to match Victoria's 5 foot 3 gauge at an accurate modelling scale) the NSW CPH and 44 class in 7mm as well as it's South Australian cousin the 930 class.
The Victorian models were sold under my own brand while the NSW models were joint projects with others. The VR DERM was the first scale 0 gauge RTR model of an Australian train from any state. The CPH was made with the Waratah model railway company. It was the first NSW RTR scale 0 gauge model.
Besides being the first Australian ready to run scale 0 gauge models these models have had a number of inovative features such as the CPH displaying full interior detail, truss underframe and operating drive shaft that can been seen turning when the model is moving as per the prototype.
Except for the first model, the DERM all of our brass engines have flywheels, and all have DCC plugs (the CPH lighting may not work fully with DCC but all other models should be fine).
We expect to produce more 0 scale Australian models in the future.
Currently all of our brass models are sold out in Taiwan. The NSW 44 class may still be available from Berg's hobbies in Sydney.
